How many faces can you paint?

I can usually paint around 20 children in 2 hours, with most designs taking 2–5 minutes. The exact number depends on the children’s ages, designs and party size.For larger parties, I can simplify designs so more children get a turn. If you’re unsure how much time to book, ask when you check your date.

Do I need to provide anything?

Yes, please kindly provide a medium size table & 2 chairs to work from.  If your party is outside a canopy/gazebo for protection from wind, rain or extreme heat.  I travel by public transport so I can’t carry these items and my kit.  Thank you!

What happens when you arrive?

I'll arrive 10 minutes early to set up on your table.  Then I'll check with you for the final number of children you're expecting so I can work out the level of detail to include in each design.I'll then start painting at the agreed working time, keep the queue moving and tidy the area  before I leave.

Question 4

Do you face paint children under 2?

Accepted Answer

No. I'm unable to face paint children under the age of 2 years.This is because the professional products I use are not recommended by their manufacturers for children under two, and young children can also move unexpectedly while having their face painted.My public liability insurance does not cover face painting children under two, so I'm unable to make exceptions to this policy.If you'd like to understand more about why, I've written a blog explaining this in more detail. face painting children under 2 years.

Are glitter and gems included?

Yes they are!!  I have a wide range of cosmetic glitters and gems available to add extra sparkle to face painting.They're included in the face painting service, so there's no extra charge for adding a little glitter or gems to a design.

Do you offer glitter tattoos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Glitter Tattoos are an additional option for a small extra fee, and can be decided on the day.  They last approximately 3 - 5 days.Note: They're not included in the standard face painting price.

How do you organise the queue?

Accepted Answer

I normally work with a simple five-child queue, so children can come over in small groups without complicated numbering systems. It keeps things moving and means I can concentrate on painting rather than managing a queue.If kids like to watch what's going on I don't mind that at all.  I will always encourage them to go and play and to come back.

Do you take photos?

Accepted Answer

No. I respect children's and parents privacy and understand your concerns. If there is a design I'd like to include on my website, I will always ask the parent first.I rarely post photos of my work on social media for this reason.
